I begin a reverse glass painting by choosing a color and a tool. Then I apply the paint to the glass in a dynamic movement using a brush, sponge, or silicone mold. It is a very physical, intense moment. I use the entire surface of the glass plate “all over.” I can move the paint around until it starts to dry. Only in the next step do I add another color. It’s working slowly in layers.
